After the near month stand off in Wisconsin, the Republicans used a parliamentary trick to get the union busting measure through. I am not a Republican and I am not a Democrat, and one of the many reasons is because this happens all the time on both sides. The Republicans claimed that the Union's concessions on pay and benefits for its workers was not enough and the Union's collective bargaining rights disallowed the State to be fiscally secure. Then, the Republicans pass the bill claiming that it is not fiscally relevant to the State, so the Democrats do not have to be present. Its all a big joke, and I sure hope this goes to court, the one place where this kind of bull**** should not prevail.
I hope you guys are your families are safe after that terrible earthquake and subsequent tsunami. Take care everyone.
Sincerely,

Wisconsin
The Republicans were elected in Wisconsin under the pretense of creating jobs. I understand why the new Republican majority in the state legislature wanted to cut down on salary and benefits, and the unions agreed to these concessions. I find it interesting to see that the Republican majority are using the powers vested to them to strip public workers of their collective bargaining rights guaranteed to the workers in their contracts. This resembles the actions of a dishonest individual, and I enjoyed watching the prank call (link below & its about 20 minutes) where a prominent conservative (actually a talk show personality) is speaking to Governor Walker of Wisconsin about the plan of action. So when you turn on the news and see Charlie Sheen. don't get upset that anything Charlie Sheen does is not news. Just know that people just need a distraction because if they obsess over the fact that people like this are their elected officials, they would go crazy.
tl;dr version: Republicans are overstepping their bounds in Wisconsin and their Governor was recorded being his dishonest self. So its either covering Charlie Sheen in the news and laugh, or cover this guy and cry.

Daring to be Poltical
What is "Daring to be Political"? Here we dare to express what the political world really is. That Fox News, CNN and MSNBC do not care to report the news but rather do whatever they can to get as many viewers as they can (and Fox is winning). Politics is confrontational and here we are being confrontational by daring to say what the political world really is. We say here that Congressional Republicans are only obstructionists because they are not in control of the presidency (and when the president is republican again the Democrats will love doing what the Republicans are doing right now). Here we Dare to be Political by daring to be the voice of reason. So in the comments below Dare to be Political and call out something for what it really is.
